My name is Mimi Langley, and I am the creator of The Bride Academy Course. I married my college sweetheart the day after Thanksgiving on Black Friday in 2017. Fun Fact: We were actually together for 6 years before he popped the question! So you’re not alone if your fiancé took forever too … You may be wondering why I created this course, and why am I considered an “expert” in this field.

Well, I not only planned every single detail of my own wedding, but I've also worked in the wedding industry as a catering team member for over three years, probably witnessing over 100 weddings take place.

I took all of my years of experience working in the wedding industry and decided to plan my own wedding from start to finish. I am a control freak and a procrastinator, and honestly, I just like things done accordingly.

There are so many aspects to planning a wedding. It’s not just about choosing a venue and picking a dress. There are so many different elements, and I am here to literally teach them all to you. You’ll leave with everything you need to plan and execute the wedding of your dreams!

I created this course for anyone who is planning their own wedding, who likes to be hands-on in every aspect of their wedding, and who is a little bit of a procrastinator/control freak.

In each section of the course, we will dive into a different wedding category. Along the way, I will be providing pdf downloads in the form of worksheets, checklists, etc.

I've put together each lecture in order from the way I started to do things for my wedding, but at any point during this course, you can skip around to a specific topic you're curious about.
